Inspired by a pair of boots he saw on a trip to Paris, Carl Franz Bally founded his designer brand in 1851, and set up a workshop in the cellar of his own home at Schönenwerd in Switzerland. His vision quickly brought his new business into the spotlight, and by 1857, he was already expanding beyond the border of Switzerland. Bally imports revolutionary machinery from the United States, accelerating its ascent into becoming the leading European shoemaker. Shop our range of Bally designer shoes.
